چکیده

To evaluate the best method for sperm separation in high DNA fragmentation index (DFI) samples. A prospective randomised study was conducted from 1st January 2019 to 2021. Three hundred patients were by computer generated list and divided into 3 groups. Group (n=100) , which processed microfluidic sorter (MFSS) while group B (n=100), selected Physiological Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (PICSI) technique C where density gradient technique. Morphologically normal motile injected injection (ICSI) mature oocytes after all three techniques. The period included normozoospermic with (>25% ) oligospermic, asthenozoospermic samples, poor ovarian reserve advanced age excluded study. All grade embryos vitrified transferred frozen embryo replacement cycle. groups compared on basis of fertilisation rate, day development rate clinical pregnancy miscarriage rate. Cycle characteristics (female age, length stimulation, gonadotrophin dose, number embryos) similar among Between groups, there a statistically significant increase observed (Microfluidic Sorting) (60% vs. 42% 38%, p-0.016) (62% 46% 41%, p-0.049), no statistical difference (82% 78% 76%, p-0.80) comparing C. But significantly higher ( 12% 11% 25%, p-0.019) (Group C) We have demonstrated that sorted is not only correlated better integrity but also reproductive outcome. Using it routine practice can help reducing extraneous affect processing techniques achieving sustaining PICSI Density Gradient

Dr. Ahmad, in his well-written commentary (1), shared his viewpoints about the utility of sperm DNA fragmentation (SDF) testing on each clinical scenario proposed in the practice recommendations by Agarwal et al. (2). He highlighted the pitfalls of relying on quantitative semen parameters in current practice and the n...

Retraction Note: Intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection versus conventional intracytoplasmic sperm injection: a randomized controlled trial

Retraction The Editors-in-Chief are retracting this article [1] because the study was not conducted with the appropriate ethical oversight. Contrary to the statement in the article that ethics committee approval was not required, an investigation by the Arcispedale Santa Maria NuovaIRCCS has determined that the study should have been reviewed and approved by an ethics committee. All authors agr...

Intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection versus conventional intracytoplasmic sperm injection: a randomized controlled trial

BACKGROUND Intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection (IMSI) is still proposed and employed in the clinical practice to improve the reproductive outcome in infertile couples scheduled for conventional intracytoplasmic sperm injection (cICSI). The aim of the current randomized controlled trial (RCT) was to test the hypothesis that IMSI gives a better live birth delivery rate than ...

Intracytoplasmic sperm injection outcome versus intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection outcome: a meta-analysis.

The development of a modified intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), called intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection (IMSI), demonstrated that a profound morphological investigation of the spermatozoon, under the magnification of 6600 x, enables outcome improvement. The aim of this study was to compare ICSI outcome with IMSI outcome. The meta-analysis results demonstrated no ...

Use of testicular sperm for intracytoplasmic sperm injection in men with high sperm DNA fragmentation: a SWOT analysis

Spermatozoa retrieved from the testis of men with high levels of sperm DNA fragmentation (SDF) in the neat semen tend to have better DNA quality. Given the negative impact of SDF on the outcomes of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), an increased interest has emerged about the use of testicular sperm for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (Testi-ICSI). In this article, we used a SWOT (strengt...
